This past Monday morning, Copyblogger Media announced a new team member. Me.
I appreciate all the warm wishes of congratulations I’ve received this week. And I also want to address those of you who asked about the future of Big Brand System.
In a nutshell, Big Brand System is not going away. Changing a little, yes. But — if anything — this will become an even more valuable place to find information about marketing your business.
Here’s what I have planned:
The blog will move to an every-other-week schedule
I am committed to continuing to offer you quality information and guidance to help you market your business successfully.
Starting next month, I’ll share a blog post every other week. You’ll read posts by me and a group of guest writers I am personally inviting to appear here, because I know they have advice you’ll find useful.
My goal will be to share information-rich posts that will give you lots to think about, solid advice you can put to use right away, and the encouragement you need to get started.
The Weekend Digest newsletter will publish every other week
My ever-popular Weekend Digest newsletter has been published every Saturday for four years.
Starting next month, I’m going to change the publishing schedule to every other Saturday, and it will email on the weeks there won’t be a post published on Big Brand System.
This means that when you subscribe, you’ll still hear from Big Brand System every week.

What my new job really means for you
Even though my publishing schedule is changing, there’s something you should know. In the future, I’ll have even more great information and inspiration to share with you.
Everyone I’ve met on the Copyblogger team is at the top of their field. Besides being genuinely nice people, they’re smart and savvy leaders in their respective areas of expertise.
Working with quality people means you’re bound to learn and grow. And I’ll be passing along what I learn to you if you stay connected with me by subscribing.

The 4 letter word is SELL
One of the most impressive books I read last year was Sean D’Souza’s The Brain Audit. The book has been available for a while: I wish I’d read it years ago.
Sean should have called it The Brain Explosion.
Because by the time I got to the end of it, I thought my brain was going to explode with the new angles on selling that he shares in this book.
Actually, “angles on selling” isn’t the right way to put it. Because that makes it sound like Sean shares tricky manipulation techniques you can use to make sales. And nothing could be further from the truth.
